How It Works
I-Trak tags are fitted to the inside of the vehicles windscreen, or hung from a rear view mirror. Once the vehicle is driven in the range of the i-Trak VID Reader the tags unique ID is instantly passed to the access control system for verification, just like a short range proximity reader. The readers proven weigand interface is compatible with all of the most popular access control systems. If the access system authorises the tag the gate or door is opened. Metal independent tags are also available for mounting directly onto metal surfaces.
