In addition to transmitting your unique access code, our transmitter also sends an authentication code to verify that the transmitter being used is in fact an authorised and valid MDI remote.

Many Garage door and gate openers will allow multiple or even an unlimited number of user codes to be copied and stored in the openers receiver memory. This makes it difficult to keep track of who in fact actually has access. The ATA SecuraCode system is designed to "lock-out" unauthorised code storing of additional transmitters unless direct physical access can be gained to the opener or, by pressing the code recognition button within an already programmed SecuraCode transmitter. The code recognition button within the SecuraCode transmitter also allows for easy programming when the height of the opener restricts physical access to the openers control panel.
