The
motorised MULTIPARK Validator
Overall Presentation:
This user-friendly model is well adapted
to the shopping centres' needs : it enables
them to grant some specific car-park
discounts to their customers. This system
is very simple and efficient, it enables
to reduce the consumables (no vouchers).
Very compact, the motorised Validator
can be installed near the cashier in
each shop (Height : 14 cm; Width : 17
cm; Depth : 23 cm).
The user can grant 3 different discounts
(discounts programmed). Three lighting diodes enable to know the Validator state,
the ticket state and if the discount is well encoded on the
ticket. Each Validator uses a specific code : The discount
is encoded on the ticket and upon the payment at the POF, the
user can see on the display the new amount to pay if the discount
is not enough.
The Multipark system centralises the data and enables to differentiate
the discount granted by each cashier/shop (up to 99 different
shops/cashiers).
Reports available for these validations
are:
The
shops/cashiers issuing the validations
The
validation numbers granted by each cashier/shops
The
granted discount amounts
Detailed presentation:
Configuration before use
For each Validator it's possible to
parameter up to 3 different discount
values, which can be granted by the user
to the customer.
Five discounts are available:
in
time value
in
money value
in
percent of a global amount
to
apply a preferential tariff
to
apply a lump sum
A shop can have several Validators (unlimited
number) with different discount values
for each ones. The Multipark data base
is able to differentiate up to 999 discount
values. These discount values are recorded
in the Multipark data base and associated
to a shop/cashier number. It's possible
to have up to 99 different shops/cashiers.
So the issued discounts are automatically
associated to a shop/cashier when the
tickets are read by the Pay-On-Foot Machine
(POF).
Daily use of the Validator:
The Validator is simply plugged in 240
V. A switch, ON/OFF, is placed at the
rear enabling to put the power on. The
cashier inserts the car-park ticket in
the Validator's slot (two possible directions)
and then:
One single discount value
is programmed, and the ticket is immediately
encoded with the discount and issued.
Or
Two or three discount values
are programmed; the cashier has to make
his choice pushing one of the three buttons
on the front of the Validator. Then the
ticket is encoded with the discount and
issued.
The motorization enables the Validator
to check the validity of the ticket's
encoding and so to know that the ticket
will be well read by the POF.
Review of the discounts
granted by a Validator
On the Central Management computer, it's
possible to display reports selected by
shop/cashier and by discount value. The
number of granted discount and the global
discount value are also supplied.
