Application
The LIFTMASTER 844 operator has been designed to provide the simplest, most cost effective solution for moving heavy gates on commercial and industrial sites (i.e. Chemical plants, fuel & transport depots and home units.

Economical Installation
The electronic equipment is conveniently housed under the motor cover to make installation easier and faster.

Secure Locking
As the motor and gearbox unit cannot be reversed the installation of electric locks is unnecessary.  The release device is lockable and allows simple disconnection in the event of power failure.

Controls
The Magic Button 696IK logic control board designed & manufactured by LIFTMASTER in Australia features six different operating modes.  From simple domestic operation through to high security devices, clock timers and all types of access control equipment are standard.

Features
The LIFTMASTER 844 drive motor is housed in a black anodized aluminium casing with high resistance to atmospheric corrosion.  A double disc clutch in an oil bath allows fine adjustment of the driving force. 

The Magic Button control board can be mounted under the hinged and lockable motor cover and is fully protected from the weather.  A conduit hole through the mono block provides access for power and accessory cables.

Fast Option
The LIFTMASTER 844 drive motor can be augmented with an optional inverter drive that increases the standard speed of 200mm per second to an astounding 800mm per second.

Toothed Racking
The custom made racking is designed to be quite but strong.  The high tensile plastic outside protects a steel core.  Featuring fixing lugs every 200mm this rack has proved to be highly successful.  Steel Racking is available for commercial applications.
